摘要
Evidence is accumulating that molecules involved in cell-cell and cell-substratum interactions are important in the establishment and maintenance of borders between cell groups during development. In this report, we review evidence supporting this conclusion, particularly in regard to the role of adhesion molecules in the formation of cell collectives and in the modulation of cell and neurite movements. © 1990 Academic Press, Inc.
