Factors Related to the Use of Virtual Learning Environments (VLE) in Higher Education

摘要
This article deals with a research that analyzed the use computer technology for the learning of university students and the influence of aspects such as gender, career and semester. A population of 267 students were interviewed end the obtained data was compared using multivariate analysis of variance MANOVA. It was found little use of VLE for teaching in the Faculty of Agricultural Science of the University of Antioquia, but there is a favorable opinion about its usefulness for learning, it was not found a statistical difference (p>0,05) between genres, or semester. In general, the teachers widely these technologies for teaching. Th have a wider use of VLE for teaching, is require strategies that enhance the computer and peuagt. of teachers to achieve a proper integration of techr teaching.
