摘要
The objective of the present study was to search for evidence of the validity of a speech test by way of correlations with a scale that assesses attention and hyperactivity deficit (TDAH) and the influence of the age, education and gender variables on the score. The assessment included 125 children aged between five and ten years, students of the highest grade of primary school. Instruments used were the Bateria Informatizada de Linguagem Oral (BILO), applied collectively in a computer science lab under the guidance by four instructors and the Escala de Deficit e de Atencao e Hiperatividade for teachers, which was answered individually. A significant negative correlation was found between BILO and the deficit factors of attention and learning problems of the TDAH scale. The results revealed that BILO discriminates the scores of the respondent in function of the grade and age, being, therefore, an evidence of criterion validity for the battery.
