摘要
Electromagnetic propagation models, used in particular for transmitter coverage determination, often resort to a digital terrain data base requiring an important volume of memory. This paper presents a method, based on Fourier analysis, to compress digital terrain information with a parametrable accuracy of the altitude. Besides, this method allows the reconstitution of terrain profiles, continuously.
