摘要
A brief history of the competing response practice treatment for motor and phonic tic reduction is presented, as well as a basic explanation of the procedure. A table defining the competing responses of various ties that have been systematically studied over the past twenty years is also presented. This table is designed to be a reference tool for clinicians and researchers in the treatment of Tourette syndrome and tic disorders.
