摘要：
A complete study of the elemental concentration distribution in a Swedish lake has been done using PIXE as a multielemental analytical technique. More than 40 samples from 20 different locations of the lake were analyzed and about 20 elements were determined for each sample. From the obtained data the spatial and temporal distribution of the more significative constituents of the sediment matrix were analyzed and the impact of the human activities during the last century was evaluated.
