摘要
A method for the determination of the optimum cutting parameters is outlined. The basic scheme is to establish a set of algorithms that can work with a small and not particularly good initial data bank to make progressively better machinability predictions. The data format used, the logic associated with a hierarchical data selection method, the actual operational conditions and some results are discussed.
