MAGNETIC PHASE-TRANSITIONS IN (C6H5CH2NH3)2CUCL4

摘要
The high temperature dc magnetic susceptibility chi, and the temperature dependences of dc magnetization M under various effective magnetic fields H(eff) were measured for (C6H5CH2NH3)2CuCl4 two-dimensional XY ferromagnet. From the Weiss temperature THETA of 36.9 K, the J/k(b) was estimated as 18.5 K, where J is the exchange integral. The successive magnetic transitions were observed in the M-T curve below 2.5 Oe of H(eff). The upper- and lower transition temperatures were about 7 and 5 K when they were extrapolated to H(eff) = 0, respectively.
