摘要：
Objective of this work is to analyze novel Tent of Miracles (1969) (Tenda dos Milagres), by Jorge Amado, from historical perspective, understanding this representation by approaching cultural and urban tensions that took place in the city of Salvador in the initial decades of the period called First Brazilian Republic. This work analyzes discourses about miscegenation like expressive factors of the dynamics distributed inside a specific conjuncture of time and place.
