摘要：
This work is the result of the personal evaluation from the author after reading the article from D. D. Davis about the archaeology of Cuba in the period of 1962-1992. Most of the opinions expressed on the article are considered by the author of this work as inaccurated, distorted and baseless. He focuses on the real history of the three decades of the archaeological studies in Cuba and the later period. He situates Cuban archaeologist regarding their values of identity vs. subversion.
