摘要
A vagal-sparing esophagectomy (NISE) might be applicable to patients with benign esophageal disease or intramucosal esophageal cancer. It could keep more postoperative gastric functions and have less pulmonary complications than radical esophagectown. However, large incisions need to be left in the abdomen and the neck. Here, we would like to report a minimally invasive vagal-sparing Ivor-Lewis esophagectomy (MI VSILE) applied to two patients with esophageal stricture, which leave minimal scar, better hospital course and better gastric function.
