摘要
The aim of the study was to evaluate the effect of the application of a Program to Promote Health in Preschool (PPHP) in the achievement level of execution of competencies in the second grade of preschool. We applied a Competencies Assessment Rubric created ad hoc based on the Preschool Education Program of 2011. 16 preschool children participated in the city of Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico. A design of two groups (experimental and control) was used together with pretest and posttest measurements. Each group consisted of eight participants who were randomly assigned to each group. Results showed performance differences between groups and the Wilcoxon test obtained the value of 28, significant at 0.020, proving the effectiveness of the program. We conclude that the methodology is suitable to be used in other disciplines.
