摘要
Enterobacter cloacae strain HO1 was able to reduce toxic hexavalent chromium (chromate) anaerobically. The reduction of chromate by E. cloacae cells was sensitive to oxygen stress. Cultures under continuous aeration showed no chromate reduction. However, when released from the oxygen stress, the cultures readily resumed chromate reduction. © 1989.
