Surgical treatment of cancer in Poland: today and tomorrow

Surgery is still the most important method of the oncological treatment and gives the only real possibility to cure majority of patients. It is also, the cheapest and the most efficacious method. Continuous development of cancer diagnosis in early stages will increase the demand for surgical therapy, which becomes less and less harmful. The ongoing development of oncological surgery and high specialized treatment is the warranty of continuation of efficacy improvement.
