摘要
This essay aims to discuss, through the analysis of certain narrative procedures, the ways of mimetic representation in the tale O espelho. The hypothesis is that this Rosa's story reinterprets the relation between real and fiction, based in a particular conception of literature as the act of reading life itself, in which the difference appears under the form of humor and paradox and reveals "the coherence of the general mystery that covers us all".
