摘要
From a model of human behaviour based on the knowledge of behavioural biology a long-term prediction of economic growth and employment is derived. The method of deduction from a behavioural model based on biology was selected in the assumption that it is superior to the methods normally dominating in business cycle- and growth theory applied to obtain legal hypotheses by means of statistical ex post analyses of econommic data because it is more realistic and consistent. Main results are that - the national product is accidentally more or less varying as a result of the variability of psychic requirements, but is declining on average in the longer run, if the tendency towards saving of intermediate inputs becomes more pronounced than consumption of consumer goods as regards psychic needs increasing (degressively) as a result of a reduction in expense, - employment will be continuously declining on average in the longer run.
