摘要：
In many knowledge based systems (KBS) applications in business and economics representation and processing of uncertain knowledge is needed. A number of KBS shells with a high market penetration support development of applications with an uncertainty approach based on MYCIN/EMYCIN with little theoretical foundation. In this paper we analyze the uncertainty representation defined on the interval [0,1]. Based on this analysis an extension approach is being developed avoiding the disadvantages of MYCIN/EMYCIN as far as possible.
