摘要
Situs inversus totalis is a transposition of thoracic and abdominal organs, It is an autosomal recessive hereditary congenital malformation, with an estimated prevalence between 1 / 10.000 to 1 / 20.000 live births. The congenitally corrected transposition of the great arteries has a prevalence of 0.03 per 1,000 live births. Approximately 0.05 % of all congenital cardiac malformations. A female patient of 17 years of age is presented, without significant medical history, in a gestation that presented congestive heart failure postpartum. She was diagnosed with: dextrocardia, congenitally corrected transposition of the great arteries, atrial septal of the foramen ovale type, atrioventricular valve failure, pulmonary hypertension and severe biventricular dysfunction. Based on clinical and image findings, situs inversus totalis was diagnosed. The patient was stabilized and received palliative treatment with poor prognosis, and two weeks later she died.
