摘要
In this article different conceptual models and therapeutic procedures historically used to treat alcohol and drug disorders are reviewed. The objective is to assess the compatibility amongst different treatments under effectiveness criteria. Conclusions show that it is difficult to integrate together therapeutic procedures coming from different fields of knowledge, such as religion or science. It also seems necessary to recover psychology's own paradigm while at the same time favouring interdisciplinary interventions.
