RELATIVISTIC EFFECTS IN NONRADIATIVE ELECTRON-CAPTURE IN ION-ATOM COLLISIONS

摘要
In this paper, a modified eikonal method (Blankenbecler-Goldberger) has been extended to perform calculations for the electron capture processes in relativistic ion-atom collisions. The results are compared with the first order Born approximation and the ordinary eikonal approximation. The relativistic effects are discussed. Some conclusions are drawn.
