摘要
This article is based on a study of the service's conditions of the Pro-Nursery, which is presented as a partnership between the public and private institutions for the care of students 0-3 years not find place in the municipal school. The Pro-Nursery has been implemented and is in force in a large municipality of Sao Paulo. For the development of the research, we used the qualitative approach and case study methodology. The purpose of this article is elaborating reflections on the possible influence of the World Bank in brazilian public policies on financing of early childhood educational's services, analyzing how the Pro-Nursery follows the indications of this international agency. We believe that, influencing public policies in Brazil, the World Bank's recommendations led to the devaluation and privatization of early childhood education, in name of lower public costs with that educational level.
