摘要
The effect of cold isostatic pressing (CIP) in the forming process on superconductivity is studied in Y-Ba-Cu-O system ceramics. Powders of Y2O3, Ba(NO3)2 and CuO are mixed to the ratio of Y:Ba:Cu = 1:2:3, and calcinated at 1173K. Then they are mixed with various amounts of CuO as a binding additive and formed by cold isostatic pressing at various pressures and sintered at 1173 K. The critical temperature, Tc, and the zero field critical current density, Jc(77K) at 77K are measured. The values of Tc and almost similar in all kinds of specimens but the values of Jc are sensitive to the amount of the binding additive as well as the forming pressure level of CIP.
