NEW METHODS OF INVESTIGATING THE MARTENSITIC-TRANSFORMATION IN IRON-NICKEL-CARBON ALLOYS

摘要
The objective of this work was to study the conditions which modify the mechanism of the martensite transformation in the Fe-Ni-C alloys with varying carbon contents and varying states of initial austenite matrix. The study was conducted with the help of resistivity measurements complemented by acoustic emission analysis. The changes observed in the mechanism of the martensite transformation will be linked with the mechanical properties of the martensite.
