摘要：

An unusual fungus showing distinct ties to the Cortinariaceae was found in Mendocino County, California. This fungus has a white peridium, staining first yellow then reddish brown upon handling. The brown gleba has locules which radiate asymmetrically from a central, reduced columella. It resembles no other described genus and is described here as Kjeldsenia aurelspora gen. et sp. nov.
