TEMPERATURE-DEPENDENCE OF POLARIZATION IN KTIOPO4 SINGLE-CRYSTALS

摘要
Polarization measurements as a function of temperature are performed on KTP monodomain single crystals, in both, insulating and conducting electrode arrangements. The low temperature study allows to determine the pyroelectric coefficient π = 2.97 nC cm−2 K−1 which is constant over a wide temperature range. In the case where insulating electrodes are employed it is shown that bulk charge compensation of the spontaneous polarization field occurs around 148K in the flux‐grown samples.
