International Development Co-operation Diplomacy

The article focuses on the analysis of on-going diplomatic activity in the area of international development co-operation at both levels, bilateral and multilateral. It views the Official development assistance as an instrument of the International Development Co-operation Diplomacy employed by donor-countries in achieving their external economic and political goals: the creation of favorable conditions for development of globalization processes, stimulation of development and integration of the world poor countries in the world economy, mitigation of threat of destabilization of international economic relations caused by mass poverty, social and ethnic conflicts, natural and environmental disasters.
