EXTRAPOLATION OF DRILLING DATA BY NONLINEAR FILTERING OF AEROSPACE IMAGES OF THE EARTHS SURFACE

It is shown that nonlinear filtering of aerospace information may be used to increase the accuracy of extrapolation of ground measurement data. Two images of an oil and gas region of Western Yakutia synthesized by different methods using the lineament pattern are used as examples. It is shown, that for a very simple mask consisting of five points, the correlation coefficient may be increased to 0.9 with a nonlinear transformation of order three. For partial image filtering, the correlation coefficient between the ground data and the transformed image in the given region increases to 0.7-0.8.
