摘要
We have previously developed a model that is capable of estimating the bulk modulus of high-T(c) superconductors within typically 8% of the values from exacting neutron-diffraction experiments. Using this model, we calculate the anisotropic compressibilities for the recently discovered HgBa2Can-1CunO2n+2+delta superconductors. The estimated bulk moduli are B = 88, 94 and 101 GPa for n = 1, 2 and 3, respectively. Within our model calculation, HgBa2CUO4+delta With B = 88 GPa is the most compressible of all high-T(c) superconductors.
