摘要
A research was carried out in year 2008 among the first year students of vocational and technical secondary schools and grammar schools. According to the research, the biggest influence on the choice of secondary school for grammar school students represent the didactic success, friends and parents while the attraction of the field and the vocation, the vocation's reputation and didactic success influence the choice of vocation for three and four year secondary school students. The most important source of information which influenced the students' enrolment is the information gained on the Information Day, followed by recommendations of those who already go to the secondary school in question and parents. Furthermore, the research showed that the students' didactic success in the last two year of primary school is connected with their parents' level of education. We also found out that three quaters of students were satisfied with the guidance of the vocational adviser in primary school, one quater of students is unsatisfied with the guidance of the primary school vocational adviser and the choice of secondary school. After a year of their enrolment the majority of students is satisfied with the choice of secondary school. Results that we got are showing, that vocational advisers should make more effort in this field, because their influence is still too small.
