CORROSION CRACKING OF LOW-ALLOY STEELS IN WATER WITH HIGH OXYGEN CONTENTS AT HIGH-TEMPERATURE AND PRESSURE

摘要
The work investigated 22K and 16GNM pearlitic steels. Low-alloy steels are sensitive to corrosion cracking in boiler water only in a very narrow range of tensile stresses close to the tensile strength. A reduction in the stresses below 90% of sigma //t provides complete resistance.
