摘要：
The structure of lines of principal curvature near a quadratically non-degenerate singular point of a surface defined implicitly in Euclidean 3-space, is established in this paper. To this end an essential additional hypothesis, which nevertheless is generic, concerning simultaneously the quadratic and cubic terms at the singular point is imposed on the defining implicit function.
