摘要
Analysis of morphology and karyotypes of Chironomus spp. collected in june 1990 and 1991 near Krasny Kamen settlement (the polar Urals) has shown, that studied larvae can be attributed to two species known from Northern Sweden, Chironomus sp. 1 and Chironomus sp. 2. The karyotypes of these species were known but their morphology is still undescribed. The present paper is the first one dealing with all stages of metamorphosis of Chironomus sp. 1 and Chironomus sp. 2 named respectively Ch. fundatus sp. n. and Ch. wulkeri sp. n. Adult males are clearly distinct by the structure of their genitals adult females are distinct by the shape of the cerci. Pupae have a spure on the hind angle of the tergum VIII. The spur is bearing one or two denticles, wich are terminating by single threads Larvae of two species are practically identic. Ch. fundatus and Ch. wulkery differ from all known species of the genus by the pattern of disks in polytene chromosomes. Karyopool of Ch. fundatus includes five types of hetrozygous inversions mean number of which per individual is up to 0,23. For Ch. wulkeri only one type of inversions is detected, their mean number per individual being 0,31.
