摘要
A phylogram for 135 species of the genus Chironomus is constructed based on the comparative analysis of band sequences of chromosome arms A, E, and F. The ancestor group includes 5 species of cytocomplex thummi (arm combination AB. CD. EF. G). Two species are with larvae without ventral and lateral tubules (salinarius-form) and common chromocenter. In most cases, the species of the same chromocenter are associated into groups indicating the paracentris inversions (restructions) related to arm combinations. According to the phylogram, the same band patterns might originate independently of those in ancestors. This fact testifies to parallelism in the chromosome evolution of the genus.
