FLUX NOISE IN AN EPITAXIAL YBCO THIN-FILM RING CLOSE TO THE SUPERCONDUCTING TRANSITION-TEMPERATURE

摘要：
We report observation of magnetic noise in an epitaxial YBCO ring very close to the transition temperature. We find that both magnetic noise and flux creep are associated with flux entering or leaving the ring in the form of single flux quanta. The observations are compared with computer model for a ring containing a single weak link.
