摘要
More than 400 Jurassic samples (Aalenian to Oxfordian), from 34 outcrops and drill holes in Burgundy, have been palynologically analysed. This study indicates the occurrence of cycles characterized by alternations between sapropelic and humic palynofacies directly related on the one hand to alternations between dinocysts or spores and pollen and on the other to acritarchs. Such alternations have probably been observed at different scales from second or third order sequences to the thinnest parasequences (4th to 6th order). Two outcrops and one drill hole have been chosen to illustrate the usefulness of such alternations. Alternations in second and third order sequences are useful for correlation from a distance whereas alternations in parasequences indicate a palynological cyclicity of very high resolution.
