摘要
Some thorium(IV) and dioxouranium(VI) complexes with pentamethylene sulphoxide (PMSO) of the general composition [ThX4(PMSO)n] (X = Cl, Br, NO3 or NCS, n = 2; X = I, n = 4; X = ClO4, n = 6) and [UO2X2(PMSO)n] (X = Cl, Br, I, NO3, NCS or CH3COO,n = 2; X = ClO4, n = 4) were synthesized and characterized by IR, conductivity, molecular weight and analytical techniques. In all the complexes the PMSO is coordinated to the metal ion via its oxygen donor atom. The thermal properties of the complexes are also reported.
