Evolutionary Component of Strategic Management

The problem of identifying mechanisms to improve the productivity and efficiency of macroeconomic processes from the standpoint of the evolutionary approach is raised. To resolve this problem, an internal genotypic model is distinguished within the structure of the economic system. The model's content is revealed in successive stages and levels, as well as in the transitional forms of economic evolution. There are highlighted the reasons behind phenotypic particularities of economic systems and the degree of their conservatism or liberalism up to mutations and modifications. The factors of the economic system with the evolutionary and institutional focus on growth and development are analyzed. It is concluded that effective strategic management should be based on genotypic mechanisms, and high rates of economic growth and development are achieved using the logic of common genotypic development cycles. Division by stages becomes a factor in the management of economic evolution; the algorithms of economic reforms, elimination of mutations, formation of efficient owners and "economic miracle" in countries and regions are determined.
