摘要
Fluorescence time evolution on picosecond time scale and fluorescence quenching by electric field have been studied in two organic photoconductor - perylene tetracarboxylic acid diimide pigments. The fastest components of complex fluorescence decay were measured to be as short as 5.5 ps and 15 ps for the two samples investigated. The electric field induced fluorescence quenching was observed to be of ''rate'' type where the initial fluorescence amplitude remains constant but the lifetime decreases.
