摘要
The psychological assessment of reports on gender-based violence in Chile has attempted to determine the possibility of deception regarding the testimony given by the alleged victim about the aggressions and the existence of subsequent psychological injury. Possibilities and limitations of this practice in the Chilean context are discussed and the international methodologies available are reviewed, especially Arce & Farina's Global Assessment System. the conclusion is that there is not enough evidence for assessing reliably the credibility of eye-witness testimony in gender-based violence, although there is evidence for assessing reliably malingering of psychological injury.
