摘要
Universities as research and professional training centers, exponents of culture and social development must play and important role in the achievement of a sustainable development from environmental training taking into account the curricular, research, laboring and working components. In the article the conceptions on the environmental education in the process of formation of this professional are analyzed, which was developed in two directions: the conceptions that are taken into account in the curriculum of the mechanical engineer and the assumed by the professors in the process of professional formation. The need to develop a curricular strategy in the model of the mechanical engineering professional is determined from the principles and purposes of environmental education, aimed at the comprehensive training of these professionals.
