摘要
The state-of-the-art of fluorescer preparation from ore, rock, soil, and plant samples for x-ray fluorescence analysis is reviewed. Requirements for thin-film substrates (the bottom of the cup) and binders used in sample pelleting are discussed. The effect of dilution of the studied material (with binders and flux) in the process of fluorescer preparation on the analytic line intensities is estimated. Aspects of fluorescer preparation from plant materials (grinding, pelleting and ashing) and the use of thin fluorescers are covered.
