SIMULTANEOUS DETERMINATION OF SOME LONG-LIVED SEMIVOLATILE RADIONUCLIDES IN ENVIRONMENTAL-SAMPLES

摘要
A radiochemical method is presented to determine simultaneously the long-lived semivolatile radionuclides Se-79, Tc-99, Ru-106, Sb-125, Te-125m, Te-127m, Cs-134 and Cs-137 in environmental samples. The pure beta-emitters Se-79 and Tc-99 are counted in a low-level gas flow counter, the gamma-emitters in a gamma-spectrometer with a high purity well-type Ge detector. The procedure was tested using environmental samples with known concentrations of Tc-99, Ru-106, Sb-125, Cs-134 and Cs-137.
