摘要：

Effects of biquadratic exchange on the low temperature behaviour of magnetisation. Curie temperature, and zero field susceptibility at high temperatures are investigated in the case of a spin-1 Heisenberg ferromagnet. The Green function technique with mixed Callen and RPA decoupling approximations is utilized. Some invalid results and drawbacks of earlier treatments are noted.
