Carbon-13 NMR shifts and charge densities in triphenylcyclopropenium cation

摘要
Charge densities derived from carbon-13 NMR shifts of triphenylcyclopropenium cation have been correlated with values derived from Huckel calculations. The correlation is poor in all but the following respect: both predict only a small charge withdrawn from the cyclopropenium ring.
