:
Copper films, deposited on glass, are oxidised in air under irradiation by means of a scanned Ar+laser beam. It appears that, for fixed scanning velocity, the optical characteristics of the resulting oxide films depend on the laser beam power density and the thickness of the initial copper films. © 1990 IOP Publishing Ltd.
