AUTOGENOUS TRAINING - AN INTEGRATIVE PSYCHOTHERAPY METHOD

Autogenous Training is presented as a deep rooted psycholocial method and is integratively linked with the classical object relation theory. From this perspective the elementary level of AT is particularly effective in the narcisstic realm. The transitional area is understood as ''potential space'' in which the ability to symbolize is rooted and the resolution in set phrases can be conceived in the sense of the ''transitional object''. The upper level of AT is an own imaginative method.
