摘要
We carry out a general review of the pedagogue Paulo Freire's thinking and from that approach; we criticize the current educational model, by comparing his concepts of banking education and mindfulness education. According to Freire, criticism to education is very important since it is the previous condition to individuals' transformation and thus, to world's transformation. The literacy proposed by Freire is considered to be an alternative for change.
