摘要
The article discusses the trend in motivation and self regulation of a personality seeking aesthetic surgery procedures as a kind of modern technology of bodily perfection. The personality trend is viewed as a system incorporating values, self regulation mechanisms, the level of aspirations and means of self understanding, all of which determine one's actions towards society, social environment and the self.
