摘要
Presupposing the appropriation or assimilation of cultural identity is ethical in a cross-cultural body of fiction, a writer must make many choices as to how to translate not only language, but culture and setting as well. This essay explores some of the choices a writer must make when relating non-homogeneous elements to an audience.
