摘要
This research analyzes the relationship between the interactive-collaborative documentary and social change movements. First, we define the interactive documentary concept and analyze its potential for immersion and involvement. Second, we introduce some significant collaborative-interactive documentaries that have empowered their protagonists. We consider whether the interactive documentary, using audiovisual and new technologies for spreading and promoting the works, is an effective tool for facilitating involvement and empowerment of community members. On a methodological level, we carry out a comparative study of four interactive documentaries that have had strong impacts on their communities: The Dream is Now (2013), 0 Responsables (0 Accountable, 2013), One Millionth Tower (Highrise) (2013) and Proyecto Quipu (ongoing). We have identified several key factors for involving the user and building the final product in collaboration with other users, so that collaborative tools acquire great importance.
